NFTY-SAR is FOREVER! Join your fellow NFTY-SARites for a fun filled weekend in the mountains of Cleveland, GA as we take a trip to explore the Past, Present, and Future of NFTY-SAR. You won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and participate in exciting activities all weekend long. We are excited to have a committee of teens from all across NFTY-SAR helping to plan an event we know you will want to be a part of. This weekend will give us the opportunity to travel through time as we EMBRACE the past, CELEBRATE the present, and DREAM up our future together. Tell your friends to join you, and register today to attend Spring Kallah! Open for teens in grades 8-12.

What is NFTY?  NFTY has been the brand of teen engagement for the Reform movement for centuries. NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, we pursue tikkun olam (repairing the world), personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism. What makes NFTY different than other youth organizations are our 13 Principles . When you register, the teen and parent both agree to these ideals.

NFTY events maintain high expectations of being a caring and safe community. To this end, each participant and parent will sign off on the NFTY Brit K’hilah, our code of conduct.

What can you expect from a NFTY-SAR Kallah Weekend?

Engaging “camp-style” programming: You will participate in all sorts of teen led programs that dive into the theme of the weekend. Programs will range from social, educational, silly, active, introspective, and more.

Deep sense of community: NFTY-SAR provides the ability to connect with teens from all over the South. You will leave with new friends after every event, as well as the opportunity to build on existing relationships from within your own temple youth group (TYG).

Personal exploration of connection to Judaism: Throughout the weekend, you will be able to engage in different worship experiences and programs that allow you the chance to explore for yourself what your connection to Judaism looks like.

Memories to last a lifetime: NFTY-SAR will stay with you for the rest of your life. Through the friends you will meet, the programs you will engage in, and the lessons you’ll learn. Some of the most fun times in your life will come from NFTY-SAR.
