Four More Things to Look Forward To

By The NFTY Convention Team

Time for some more highlights:

  • On Saturday night the Women of Reform Judaism Concert Series, in partnership with Kutz, will feature performances by Josh Nelson and Dan Nichols & Eighteen – two of the most rockin’ acts in Jewish music. Each has played at NFTY Convention before, and they do not disappoint.
  • NFTYites will also be hearing from the Invisible Children, a movement seeking to end the conflict in Uganda and stop the abduction of children for use as child soldiers. It is sure to be a moving program.
  • Imagine 700 teenagers participating in t’filah throughout the weekend. Of course, one of the highlights will be during Shabbat evening when all NFTY Convention and Youth Workers Conference participants will pray together shortly after arriving in Dallas.
  • On Monday evening, NFTYites will participate in sessions explicity focused on the theme, “Make It Good Now,” which encourages teens to not only plan for future action, but to take action in the present.
