NFTY-PAR: What’s MY Motto?

By Aviva Symons, NFTY-PAR

NFTY-PAR GroupAccording to www.dictionary.com, a motto is a maxim adopted as an expression of the guiding principle of a person, organization, city, etc. I previously agreed with this knowledgeable website, but now I have a new perception of the word.

NFTY-PAR has taught me that every motto in the world represents a different person. Each of us has our own life, our own homes, and our own minds; but when we come together as NFTY-PAR, the fireworks never stop. Although each of us may be different, we can all come together to form this amazing community which we now and will forever call family!

Sam Prager (NFTY-PAR SAVP) and Gadi Paskoff (NFTY-PAR WVP) created this eye-opening program which I will forever relate back to my love for NFTY-PAR.  During the progression of the program, each PARticipant reflected within to find who they are.  We listened to different music mediums to find the mottos within the lyrics, discussed what a motto is, and lastly created our own personal motto.
