By Eliza Lieberman, NFTY Religious & Cultural Vice President
A key trademark of NFTY (and the Reform Jewish Movement as a whole) is our passion for music. From services and Havdallah to song sessions and friendship circles, NFTY and URJ summer camps have inspired generations of spectacular leadership through song. This week, Harmony in Unison and URJ Youth Programs are partnering up together for a week-long concert series. Harmony in Unison is an online forum created by Stacy Beyer and Beth Schafer in response to all the negativity happening on and offline, that was crafted to create a sacred space for performers, songwriters, poets, and songleaders to share peace and pieces of themselves. Join us from January 14-18 for our concert series “The Music of NFTY and URJ Camps Through the Decades”, where we explore different music, performed by those who lived through it.
Join the Harmony in Unison Facebook group to sing along with us all week long!
