William Saltzburg, NFTY Membership Vice President (MVP)

William Saltzburg is a member of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. William is a proud alum of NFTY’s Pennsylvania Area Region and most recently served as the regional Membership Vice President. William began his NFTY journey as a sophomore and felt deep a connection from the very beginning. Judaism was a significant part of his childhood as his family is very involved in synagogue life. He has attended nine summers of overnight camp, including two summers at URJ Camp Harlam and two summers at the URJ Kutz Camp. Throughout high school, he has participated in various programs including NFTY Convention 2015 & 2017, URJ Kutz Camp Fellowship, NFTY Veida, L’taken Seminar, and Gratz Jewish Community High School. William is dedicated to lowering the barriers to engagement within NFTY and creating an environment for more teens to commit themselves to NFTY. William is ecstatic for the year ahead and hopes to make a positive impact on NFTY across North America.
