Dori Singer Zoot, Regional Director, NFTY Ohio Valley (OV)
Dori Singer Zoot is a passionate, enthusiastic, youth worker with a dedication to engaging Jewish adolescents and teens in meaningful programs. Dori grew up at Temple Emanuel of Tempe, Arizona, and was involved with NFTY Southwest and attended Jewish summer camp. Her passion for Jewish youth work followed her to Arizona State University, where she studied Nonprofit Leadership & Management and Youth Service Leadership. When Dori wasn’t in class, you could find her working as a Temple Youth Group Advisor, teaching Sunday School, staffing Regional and North American NFTY events, and spending her summers working at various Jewish summer camps.
A year ago, Dori moved to Cincinnati with her husband, Austin (whom she met thanks to NFTY and camp!), and spent a year working as the YGoTS (Youth Group of Temple Sholom) Advisor while falling in love with NFTY Ohio Valley. She is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to the Regional Advisor position and be a catalyst for community and help the best region under the sun continue to grow to new heights.
Aside from her love of Jewish youth engagement, Dori loves all things Disney, eating tacos, and going on outdoor adventures in her favorite shoes: her Chacos!
