Josh Nezon, Regional Director of Youth Engagement, NFTY Northeast Lakes Region (NEL)

Joshua_NezonJosh Nezon was born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario and is an alumnus of MHarZY (Temple Har Zion), NFTY-NEL and URJ Camp George where he spent many summers as both a camper and staff member. After finishing his studies at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Josh moved to Australia and served as a Fellow for Melbourne’s oldest and largest progressive synagogue, Temple Beth Israel, before returning to the frozen tundra of the GTA. When he isn’t creating innovative pathways for Jewish youth engagement, Josh can be found playing guitar, training at the gym, taking photos or playing with his dog Gus. Josh is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve both NFTY-NEL and Camp George, two organizations that have fostered much of his personal and professional growth.
