Kol Haneshama- With All We Are
During Friday night services at Biennial 2017, this was all too true for me and the nearly 6,000 other Reform Jews sharing in the joy of Shabbat. In the parts of the service when we collectively raised our voices in celebration of our heritage, our traditions, and our community and in parts when we continued our study themes from the week, Friday night services served as the culmination of my Biennial experience.

NFTY North American Board’s Statement on the Attack of Reform Rabbis at the Western Wall
Last week, a group of 150 Reform Jewish leaders were attacked at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. The group included Rabbi Rick Jacobs (Union for Reform Judaism), Gilad Kariv (Reform Movement in Israel), and Anat Hoffman (Israel Religious Action Center and Women of the Wall), alongside the Board of Governors of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.
