• Gratitude and Thanks: Giving Tuesday

    Like so many of my fellow Jewish youth, my plan was to end my involvement with Judaism after my Bar Mitvzah. I had struggled through years of religious school and Bar Mitvah training, and after writing the thank you notes and putting away the balloons from my transformation into Jewish “manhood”, the last thought on my mind was how to stay involved with a community that I felt no connection to.
