    To stand on stage in front of so many Jewish teens, advisors, speakers, and more and lead a song I grew up singing at my summer camp less than 20 minutes from my house was unlike anything else I have ever done.  As we came together to pray for peace for the Jewish people and for the entire world, I couldn’t keep the smile off my face.

    When looking at colleges, I looked at factors like the school’s scholarships, study abroad opportunities, Hillel atmosphere, and many other features as I tried to find my perfect fit. However, in a day in age where we often hear about shootings on college campuses, my friends and I found that we have to consider school’s safety policies that aim to keep students safe, policies like campus carry laws.

  • Freedom to Discriminate is not Freedom: NFTY-OV opposes RFRA in Indiana

    At 10am on Thursday, March 26, Governor Mike Pence of Indiana signed into law the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, or RFRA. Based on name alone, this bill sounds like a measure that NFTY would support - after all, religious freedom is the fundamental right that allows us to live and thrive as American Jews, without fear of discrimination.
