A Huge Feeling of Jewish Connection
What would teenagers describe as a “great weekend”. For three local Jewish teens, it was a chilly winter weekend spent doing volunteer work and sharing Shabbat at a Pittsburgh synagogue with more than 100 other Jewish teens who are part of the regional Reform youth movement, NFTY-PAR.

Kol Haneshama- With All We Are
During Friday night services at Biennial 2017, this was all too true for me and the nearly 6,000 other Reform Jews sharing in the joy of Shabbat. In the parts of the service when we collectively raised our voices in celebration of our heritage, our traditions, and our community and in parts when we continued our study themes from the week, Friday night services served as the culmination of my Biennial experience.
