Welcome to NFTY MAR!

NFTY’s Mid Atlantic Region (NFTY-MAR) includes North Carolina (excluding Charlotte), eastern West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. We work in partnership with Union for Reform Judaism affiliated congregations to provide meaningful Jewish experiences for middle and high school students.

Upcoming Events:

NFTYx BEFTY Event – April 29th 4:00PM-8:00PM at Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria, Virginia. Open to any 7-12th graders! Come participate in mixers, social action projects, dinner, sundae bar, havdalah ceremony, and more!

NFTY-MAR Virtual Spring Kallah – Saturday, May 12th 
Part 1: 3PM-4:30PM
Mixers/ice breakers, roll call and business meeting for the region, Regional Board Election speeches and voting by youth group, finishing with the announcement of a complete board.
Part 2: 7PM-8:30 PM
Havdalah ceremony, song session, outgoing regional board speeches and inductions of incoming board, senior send off speeches/goodbyes, and more community bonding and hanging out afterwards.
