Sexual Violence Prevention is one of NFTY’s highest priorities, launched after the NFTY General Board unanimously voted to pass the NFTY Resolution on Sexual Violence Prevention at Mechina in 2017. As a movement, we are committed to ensuring that each teen who interacts with NFTY understands the importance of consent, and treats their peers with a fundamental respect.
The resources found here have been created by the NFTY Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force in honor of national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), which takes place every year in April. They can be used in any community, all year long, to learn about sexual violence prevention, discover how to be the best advocate possible, and take action on this issue.
NFTY launched our own Sexual Violence Prevention Campaign. This campaign is aimed at reaching more teens and students and teaching them about the importance of this topic in their very own communities, and ways they can take action.
April 2019 is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Look for new resources and content here and on NFTY social media channels all month long.
