NFTY March Madness

Home » NFTY March Madness

While we are all struggling in these hard times, our NFTY community will always be there for us.

Beginning Monday, March 16, NFTY will be competing in our 10th annual NFTY March Madness! NFTY March Madness is a fun, yearly competition where regions duke it out to determine who gets to claim superiority for the upcoming year. This year, we are also using it as an opportunity for our community to gather due to the unfortunate event cancellations caused by COVID-19. The NFTY March Madness 2020 Leadership Team has been working hard to make an incredible virtual experience for NFTYites across North America. Not only can each region vote and donate to receive points like most years, but each region can get points through engaging in our virtual programming and answering trivia questions on Instagram! The organizations we are supporting this year are the RAC Civic Engagement Campaign and the Civics Center, which are dedicated to getting out the vote, especially with teens.

There are 6 ways to get points this year, and they are as follows:

  • Donations (4 points/dollar)  Donate here!
  • Vote! (1 point/vote) Vote in Round 3!
  • Actively engaging in virtual programming (2 points/program)
  • Winning competitive calls (varies per call)
  • NFTY Instagram trivia (first 3 people to get it right is 5 points)
  • Win every voting match-up!

Check back daily for links to Zoom calls and specific program times!  You can also follow on Instagram.

What do a bike and Dan Freedman have in common? They are both the MFVP of NFTY-NE, except for the bike. I love taking photos, watching Boston sports (or highlights of them for now), and just making people laugh. Wash your hands!
